Meet Brittany McManus – CCSD Intern

Brittany McManus has worked as an intern for the technology department since July 2017 through the Youth Transition Program. She does a variety of tasks, including work on school computers for teachers and students, installing security cameras in the schools, and organizing around the tech office. She has gained great customer service skills while dealing with a variety of age groups and personalities. She has also honed her problem-solving skills. “I have met a lot of really great people,” said Brittany.

Justin Fisher, of the technology department, had this to say: “Brittany is a motivated and hardworking intern that has been helping maintain Crook County School District devices. She has largely worked in the high school repairing student and staff devices but has worked all over the district on many different projects. Brittany started with no experience but has learned quickly and excelled at all projects that she has been given.”

These grant-funded internships provide an opportunity to learn job skills and earn money.
