CCHS Students Study Heart Rhythm

These students at Crook County High School are learning about the heart.  After learning about the cardiac conduction system, they were able to connect themselves to a 3 lead EKG and actually see and measure their own rhythms. They were then able to use software to analyze those rhythms and compare them to normal values. They’ve also been learning about abnormal rhythms that paramedics and doctors look for in patients who are in distress.

The equipment came from a Prineville Data Center Facebook grant. Crook County High School is very thankful to Facebook for the opportunity to give students these real-world experiences
