CCHS Gyms Get Air Conditioning

CCHS gyms get AC

Excessive heat and wildfire smoke moved student athletes indoors last summer, resulting in overheated gymnasiums, but the school district is better prepared this season. Crook County School District Board members gave approval to add air conditioning to the two Crook County High School gymnasiums recently, and construction has begun. Crews from Tim Carter Concrete are working this week to prepare the site for FM Sheet Metal and Environmental Controls to install a DX Cooling System. The air conditioning installation work will not affect the usage of either gym. The project is on track to be completed before fall athletes begin practice.
