What is the process for declaring items as surplus?

Principals should describe in an email to the Superintendent the items proposed as surplus after determining that items are no longer needed and cc to Diana Rice. The Superintendent will determine whether the item needs Board approval in order to declare it as surplus, and will communicate the next course of action.
