These students at Crook County High School are learning about the heart.  After learning about the cardiac conduction system, they were able to connect themselves to a 3 lead EKG and actually see and measure their own rhythms. Sandwich Music Week

It was “Science of Sound” week at Barnes Butte Elementary

In Mr. White’s music class, these students were making a ‘music sandwich.’ The music sandwich is a reed instrument that uses a rubber band as the reed. Add two popsicle sticks, two short pieces of a drinking straw, two more rubber bands, and voila! Such a simple and fun demonstration that adds vibration and sound!
