Students from Crook County High School and Pioneer High School attended the Central Oregon Skilled Trades Fair in Redmond earlier this month. There were approximately 120 industry partners and community volunteers representing construction, engineering, hospitality, public works, and manufacturing.

CCHS students were exploring color theory in their Art 2 class. The assignment was to create a cohesive composition using at least six different color schemes. Students were given a specific assignment and were allowed to explore different options applicable to the project.

  Each month Crooked River Elementary focuses on a virtue like Cooperation or Honesty. Teachers select a student from their class who exhibits this virtue and hold an assembly where students are recognized in front of the school and parents. They receive a certificate and an award, and their photo is displayed.
