Grant Coordinator

What exactly does a grant coordinator do?

Coordinates research, planning, organization, and preparation in addition to the post-award administration of various grants that the school district has applied for and is awarded. This includes providing guidance and support for the identification and development of grant opportunities.

What are the steps involved in applying for a grant?

1. The generation/development of an idea.

2. Identification of potential funding based on need/budget for project.

3. Acquiring guidelines from grant funders.

4. Writing the application in compliance with the guidelines.

5. Submitting the application.

6. Program administration if funded.

Or – do you have a project idea that you need help with?  Brainstorming? Tossing ideas around?
Things for you to consider…

  • How much funding do you need?
  • Do you have a budget created?

  • What is your outcome?

If you can answer yes to the above bullet points and would like my help – please feel free to call or email.  I love what I do and am always happy to share information AND raise money for the district.
